Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Neguinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cole Neguinho! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts scores with a takedown into Neguinho's guard. Neguinho is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Roberts dives into side control.
Roberts tries to advance to mount but Neguinho denies him. Roberts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Roberts decides to stand up, so the ref orders Neguinho to his feet. Neguinho fails to land with a series of punches.
Roberts avoids a punch combination nicely.
Neguinho looks to land a combination. Roberts sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Neguinho thows a body shot but no joy. Roberts drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neguinho is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Roberts forces his way into half guard. Roberts looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Still in half guard, Roberts seems content to control. Neguinho is staying active underneath Roberts, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roberts decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Neguinho scores with a body shot.
Neguinho misses with a two punch combination.
Neguinho throws a wild combination but nothing lands. No joy there for Neguinho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Roberts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neguinho tries to buck Roberts off but he can't manage it. Roberts throws some wild stikes that Neguinho manages to avoid easily.
Roberts has hold of Neguinho's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Neguinho manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neguinho avoids a series of strikes thrown by Roberts.
Neguinho tries to buck Roberts off but he can't manage it. Roberts lands a big elbow. Roberts sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Roberts looking to finish with strikes here!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Roberts dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Neguinho tries to close the distance and clinch but Roberts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cole Neguinho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Neguinho misses. Neguinho misses with the combination.
Neguinho gets caught flat footed, as Roberts shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Roberts prevents Neguinho from getting back to his feet. Roberts looking to sit in guard and control but Neguinho gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Roberts looking for a sweep. Not yet Roberts, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neguinho avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Roberts trying to control the position.
Neguinho wants to get up but he can't break Roberts's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Roberts looking for a sweep. Not yet Roberts, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Neguinho trying to control but Roberts is working from the bottom. Neguinho would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Roberts trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Roberts wants to control the position but Neguinho says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Roberts trying to control from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Roberts doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Neguinho scores with a one two! Roberts had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Roberts decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Roberts gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Neguinho fails with an attempt to clinch.
Neguinho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Roberts changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Neguinho looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Roberts stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roberts closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Roberts lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Roberts prevents Neguinho from getting back to his feet. Roberts gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Neguinho lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Roberts decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roberts escapes and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Roberts dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Roberts looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Roberts drops back, looking for a kneebar! Neguinho looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Neguinho looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Neguinho! Neguinho decides to take the fight back to the feet. Neguinho scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Neguinho tries to bum rush Roberts with a series of wild strikes but Roberts uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Neguinho darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Roberts not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Roberts throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Neguinho is staying active underneath Roberts, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Neguinho wants to get back to his feet.
Neguinho pushes Roberts off, looking to escape but Roberts dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Neguinho is forced to tap! The fight is over!
