Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Bigsbee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bigsbee has chosen Gin & Juice as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ned Bigsbee!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bigsbee throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rodgers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bigsbee staying out of range there.
Bigsbee tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Rodgers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bigsbee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bigsbee changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bigsbee. Rodgers does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bigsbee throws a predictable looking body shot
and Rodgers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rodgers tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bigsbee throws out a loose jab but Rodgers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bigsbee avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Bigsbee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rodgers can pounce on him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bigsbee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rodgers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bigsbee.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rodgers creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bigsbee's defenses.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rodgers lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bigsbee backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Rodgers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bigsbee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bigsbee there as he acknowledges the shot.

Rodgers lands a big uppercut and Bigsbee crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bigsbee looks OK. Rodgers waves Bigsbee back to his feet!


Bigsbee is rocked!
Rodgers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bigsbee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bigsbee is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Bigsbee is still on wobbly legs! Can Rodgers finish him?
Bigsbee takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bigsbee seems to have recovered his senses.
Nice body punch from Rodgers.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rodgers fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bigsbee on the side of the head.

Rodgers bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Rodgers explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Rodgers is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bigsbee can do to turn this around?

Rodgers stuns Bigsbee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rodgers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bigsbee is breathing heavily.

Rodgers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Bigsbee 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rodgers connects with a right hand. Bigsbee shakes it off.
Rodgers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bigsbee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rodgers drops Bigsbee with a huge uppercut! Bigsbee drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rodgers is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andy Rodgers!
After winning the bout, Andy Rodgers thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Ned Bigsbee had this to say: 'Its all good. Ill be back. Thanks to everyone for the support I appreciate yall.'.
