Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Muntz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Stewart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
45 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Nelson Muntz! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart catches Muntz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Stewart misses with a low kick as Muntz jumps back. Stewart has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thunder MMA in the buildup to the fight. Stewart slips under a jab from Muntz. Stewart fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stewart misses with a left hand and Muntz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Don Stewart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stewart lands the left hand. A low kick from Stewart misses and Muntz counters with a stiff right hand. Stewart lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Stewart scoring well with a low kick there.
Stewart lands a nice leg kick that just misses Muntz's sensitive parts. Muntz blocks a low kick nicely. Stewart drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Muntz pushes Stewart off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Muntz moves away from the strike by Stewart. Muntz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stewart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stewart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stewart throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Muntz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nelson Muntz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A slow jab from Muntz misses its intended target. Stewart tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Muntz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A little jabbing left from Muntz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A cross from Stewart lands. Muntz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Muntz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Stewart. Stewart feints and then cracks Muntz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Muntz down. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stewart.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stewart throws a leg kick that misses. Stewart throws a solid leg kick but Muntz takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stewart. Stewart closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Muntz to the mat! Muntz manages to get full guard. Stewart is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Stewart looking to pass the guard. Stewart throws an elbow that misses. Muntz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stewart's guard. Nice move by Muntz! Stewart is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muntz forces his way into half guard. Muntz is trying to control. Stewart wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stewart is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Still in half guard, Muntz seems content to control. Stewart trying to hold on to Muntz's head to control him but Muntz postures up.
Muntz slips a nice elbow through Stewart's hands, connecting with Stewart's forehead. Muntz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stewart is looking for a sweep. Muntz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stewart looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Muntz is looking to take a break and control but Stewart is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stewart wants to get back to full guard. Stewart slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Stewart is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stewart wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Muntz is now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Stewart dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Muntz throws an overhand right that lands on Stewart's shoulder, as Stewart tries to avoid the shot. Stewart stuns Muntz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Stewart misses with a hook
and Muntz counters with a stiff right hand. Stewart slips under a jab. Muntz slips under a jab from Stewart. Stewart is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Muntz can do to turn this around? A punch combination from Muntz misses. Crunch! Stewart slams his shin into Muntz's torso. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Muntz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stewart - the referee stops the clock and Muntz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stewart. Muntz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stewart tries for a takedown but Muntz circles away easily letting Muntz counter with a right hand. Stewart with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart lands a jab to the head.
Muntz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Stewart feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Muntz's calf. Stewart motions for Muntz to come forward. Stewart throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Stewart punishes Muntz's body with a nice straight punch. Muntz slips a straight right by Stewart. Muntz appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Stewart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Muntz but Muntz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stewart slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Muntz moves out of range of the leg kick from Stewart. Muntz tries a quick counter leg kick but Stewart is wise to it. Stewart shoots in for a takedown but Muntz shows good takedown defense. And Muntz responds with a good body kick, but Stewart manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Stewart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice body kick from Muntz. Stewart closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Muntz is looking to regain half guard here but Stewart keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stewart scores with punches from side control. Stewart is looking to take a break and control but Muntz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stewart throwing strikes but Muntz manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Stewart's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Muntz wants to control for a moment but Stewart uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Muntz prevents Stewart from improving his position. Muntz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stewart does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Muntz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Stewart trying to control but Muntz postures up.
Stewart is looking to improve his position.
Muntz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Stewart dominated that second round. That's time! Stewart's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stewart is defended easily by Muntz. Stewart tries to score with a low kick but Muntz moves his leg out of the way. Muntz appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Stewart throws a quick inside leg kick. Muntz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stewart. Muntz looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Muntz pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stewart is out of range and Muntz settles back down. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stewart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Muntz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Muntz sneaks out the side door and pushes Stewart away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Stewart tries a head kick but it misses.

Stewart pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Muntz is keeping the position for now. Muntz is trying to control the position but Stewart postures up. Nelson Muntz has got the better of the ground game so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stewart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Muntz is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stewart looking to control.
Muntz sitting in guard, not really doing much. Stewart looking for a sweep. Not yet Stewart, not yet. Muntz is working Stewart over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Nelson Muntz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stewart looking for a sweep. Not yet Stewart, not yet. Stewart controls Muntz momentarily but Muntz frees himself. Muntz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stewart has his foot on Muntz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Muntz works his way back into a safe position though. Muntz wants to control from the top but Stewart keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stewart dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stewart tries to close the distance and clinch but Muntz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Stewart throws a lazy body kick and Muntz counters with a good low kick that Stewart was not able to check. Stewart throws an off balance right hand
and Muntz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stewart connects with a solid leg kick. Stewart dives in for a single leg takedown but Muntz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stewart tries to clinch and Muntz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stewart throws a leg kick but Muntz moved away. Muntz appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Muntz.
Stewart scores with a three punch combo!
Muntz jabs Stewart to the body, keeping him at a distance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stewart has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Muntz finds it's way round the side to connect with Stewart's head. Muntz on the wrong end of a nice jab. Muntz connects with an inside leg kick. Stewart misses with a wild body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Nelson Muntz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stewart has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Don Stewart! A less than humble Don Stewart misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
