Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ace Spaceman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Carballo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ace Spaceman has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ace Spaceman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gustavo Carballo! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carballo instigates a clinch. Spaceman is looking for a takedown. Carballo is trying to push Spaceman away but Spaceman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Spaceman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Carballo's efforts to push away. Spaceman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Carballo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Carballo drives through with a takedown into Spaceman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Carballo is standing up over Spaceman. Spaceman looks to escape but Carballo dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carballo just content to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carballo decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spaceman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carballo avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ace Spaceman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carballo dives in and scores a takedown into Spaceman's guard. Spaceman wants to get back to his feet but Carballo passes into half guard.
Spaceman is trying to get back to full guard. Carballo tries to stand but can't do so whilst Spaceman controls his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spaceman wants to improve his position but Carballo is controlling well.
It looks like Carballo is going to stand back up.
Carballo passes the guard and advances to mount! Spaceman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Spaceman tries to get out of the position. Carballo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Spaceman is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Carballo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spaceman is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Carballo locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Spaceman is forced to tap!
