The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sabrol darts in and clinches Jax up against the cage.
Sabrol tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Sabrol has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jax uses from the top position.
Jax wants to get up but he can't break Sabrol's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sabrol is looking to sinch up a triangle. Jax throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sabrol's body to avoid the submission. Sabrol has instead reached around Jax's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sabrol arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
