Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hysse Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Crane! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hysse Berg! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berg checks the leg kick nicely there.
Crane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Berg manages to avoid it. A clash of legs there as Crane blocks the low kick. The fighters circling - Berg throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Crane drives through with a takedown into guard. Crane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Berg swivels though and keeps the full guard. Crane trying to control the position from guard on top but Berg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crane won't allow Berg to sweep him here. Crane wants to pass the guard but Berg is keeping the position. Crane preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crane throwing strikes but missing. Crane stopping the sweep attempt from Berg. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Crane has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Crane tries to free his leg and advance position but Berg is retaining full guard.

Hysse Berg dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Berg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crane moves away. Crane just misses with a punch to the body.

Crane is working to avoid the ground and pound but Berg connects with a decent elbow. Berg has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Crane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Berg wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hysse Berg has got the better of the ground game so far. Crane sneaks back into half guard. Crane is looking for a sweep. Berg is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Berg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Crane does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Crane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Berg pulls his head out easily.

Berg takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Berg has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Berg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Crane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Berg slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Berg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crane swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Berg wants to control from the top but Crane keeps moving. Berg is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. That was a close second round but I would say that Frank Crane will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Berg tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Crane cranks the arm and Berg screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Berg, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
