PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glados Crixus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yvan Noe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Trick Daddy - Fuck the other side. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noe jabs Crixus to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Crixus throws a poor cross that misses
and Noe counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Noe looks to land a left hand but Crixus moved out of range nicely.
Crixus misses with an uppercut
and Noe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Glados Crixus has been cut.

Yvan Noe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Crixus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Noe throws a hook to the side of Crixus's head but Crixus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Crixus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Noe throws out the jab.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Noe stalks Crixus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Crixus's face. Crixus staggers backwards, shaken.

Noe's coach down at CT + BJJ & Wrestling & Boxing & MT SPARRING GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Noe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Crixus looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Glados Crixus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
