Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scoobie Ge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scoobie Ge told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leonard Heath! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scoobie Ge! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ge misses with a head kick.
Heath lands a jab to the nose. No luck for Heath with that takedown attempt. Heath sets himself, and Ge steps forward looking for the clinch! Heath avoids it this time. Ge scores with a push kick. Ge closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ge tries to advance to mount but Heath denies him. Heath is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Heath tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ge presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Heath really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Heath tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ge wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heath sneaks back into half guard. Ge lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Heath tries to get to full guard but Ge has control of the leg. Heath actively working from the bottom here. Heath looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ge slows the pace down in half guard. Ge is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Heath has managed to free his arm - good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Heath tries to clinch up. Ge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Heath looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Ge content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Heath looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ge prevents Heath from improving his position. Ge has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ge is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ge stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Heath wants to clinch but Ge slips to the side and Ge cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Heath looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Heath tries to keep at a distance but Ge has taken the fight into the clinch. Heath pulls guard effortlessly. Heath looking for a guillotine here but Ge defends easily.

Heath working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Heath is tightening it up a little... Ge has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ge reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ge taps out! Nice BJJ there by Heath!
