Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Spencer Quinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Blake Armstrong! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong moves into the clinch successfully.
Armstrong tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Armstrong looking to throw knees to the head but Quinn is blocking nicely.
Armstrong's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Armstrong lands with a right to the head. Armstrong stalling in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quinn wants to get back to striking at distance but Armstrong won't allow it.
Armstrong is trying to trip Quinn. He has hold of a leg but Quinn is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Armstrong persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Quinn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Armstrong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Armstrong is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong preventing the sweep. Armstrong controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Quinn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Armstrong is aware though and is defending well. Quinn wants to sweep here but Armstrong controlling him for the moment. Armstrong controls from within his opponent's guard. Armstrong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Armstrong wants to stand but Quinn has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Armstrong slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Quinn takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Quinn tries to buck Armstrong off but Armstrong is having none of it. Armstrong is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Quinn looks calm but he's in trouble here. Armstrong gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Quinn is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Armstrong lets go of the hold and Quinn can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Blake Armstrong!
