Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eustace Elpidius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyric Saar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Elpidius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gladiator - Hans Zimmer. Cyric Saar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cyric Saar!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elpidius misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Saar.

and Saar counters with a nice low kick that buckles Elpidius's knee momentarily.

Elpidius pushes Saar away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Saar gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Saar has hold of Elpidius's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Elpidius tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Saar cranks the arm and Elpidius screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Elpidius, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
