Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Winters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kropla Beskidu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winters has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jonathan Winters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kropla Beskidu! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beskidu moves into range and clinches up with Winters. Winters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beskidu wants to clinch and Winters counters with a left to the body. Winters seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Beskidu. A head kick misses from Beskidu. Winters wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Winters connects with a body shot. Winters could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Winters swats away the attempt to clinch by Beskidu. Beskidu closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winters misses with a body punch.

Beskidu wants to break free but Winters has control.
Winters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's one minute gone in the round. Beskidu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Beskidu prevents a body shot from Winters. Winters lands a right hand that snaps the head of Beskidu backwards. Winters misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Winters throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Beskidus head. Beskidu takes a shot to the head. Winters's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Beskidu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Winters sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Beskidu tried to score with a low kick but Winters checks it. Beskidu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Winters throwing a counter right hand but Beskidu manages to avoid it. Nice defenses there by Beskidu. A punch combination from Beskidu misses. Winters misses the jab. Winters misses with a looping left.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beskidu shoots in for a takedown but Winters shows good takedown defense. Beskidu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Beskidu. Jonathan Winters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kropla Beskidu. Beskidu shoots and misses and Beskidu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Beskidu looks winded! Winters scores with a leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beskidu closes the distance looking to clinch and Winters counters with an inside leg kick. Beskidu shoots in but no luck this time. Nice uppercut lands for Winters. That snapped Beskidu's head back.
It looks like Kropla Beskidu has been cut. Winters dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Beskidu. That did some damage!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winters punishes Beskidu's body with a nice straight punch. Winters scores with a hook. A nice leg kick lands there from Winters. Winters lands a jab to Beskidu's midsection. Winters lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Beskidu is rocked! Winters ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Beskidu's jaw. Beskidu's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Winters does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jonathan Winters! Jonathan Winters was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
