Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Felix Fiana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seto Michigawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felix Fiana looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Fiana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seto Michigawa! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fiana pivots, looking for a leg kick but Michigawa is out of range and Fiana settles back down. Fiana shoots in for a double leg but Michigawa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fiana tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Michigawa swivels and escapes. Michigawa moves into range and clinches up with Fiana. Fiana goes for a takedown in the clinch but Michigawa prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Fiana. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fiana is trying to drag Michigawa to the mat but Michigawa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fiana is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fiana is defending well against a takedown attempt. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Michigawa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michigawa has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fiana after a bit of a struggle. Fiana tries to break the clinch but Michigawa is controlling the position. Fiana stops a takedown attempt from Michigawa.
Fiana is working for takedown but Michigawa is calmly controlling the position for now. Fiana prevents the takedown attempt.
Fiana blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Fiana has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Michigawa clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fiana throws strikes from the back but Michigawa rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Michigawa. Michigawa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fiana defends it easily. Michigawa wants to get back to his feet but Fiana is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Fiana stopping the sweep attempt from Michigawa.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fiana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Michigawa swivels though and keeps the full guard. Our spies down at at Soul Supremacy Rio inform us that Michigawa has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Michigawa pushes Fiana off and gets back to his feet.
Fiana gets caught flat footed, as Michigawa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Michigawa showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Michigawa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Michigawa pushing down on Fiana's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Michigawa sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fiana is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Michigawa scores with a couple of nice shots. Michigawa stops Fiana from getting back to his feet.
Michigawa tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fiana knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Fiana on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Michigawa is trying to control the action in half guard but Fiana is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Michigawa landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Fiana is refusing to be controlled, as Michigawa sits in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Michigawa is working for a submission of some sort.
Michigawa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seto Michigawa dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Michigawa shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fiana looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Fiana is staying active underneath Michigawa, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Michigawa controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fiana on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fiana tries to get out of the position. Let's hope that Michigawa has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michigawa is working for a kimura here but Fiana manages to reverse the position and he's now in Michigawa's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Michigawa has his foot on Fiana's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fiana works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are working up against the cage. Michigawa manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Fiana prevents the takedown attempt.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Fiana. Michigawa goes for a takedown attempt but Fiana pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Fiana drives through and clinches with Michigawa against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Michigawa tries to circle away but Fiana has him pinned against the cage. Michigawa prevents the takedown attempt.
Fiana breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fiana is defended easily by Michigawa. Michigawa feints the counter takedown. Fiana fails with the takedown. Michigawa changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Fiana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fiana ducks right into an uppercut from Michigawa. Michigawa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fiana defends it nicely. Michigawa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fiana walks into a stiff left hand from Michigawa. Fiana shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Michigawa as he jumps to the side. Michigawa feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Fiana crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Seto Michigawa!
