Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roger Rydell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adriano Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Rydell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adriano Silva! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rydell shoots in but no luck this time. Rydell dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Rydell's head and hops out. Silva lands a really nice looking cross but Rydell seems unphased.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rydell. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Rydell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rydell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Rydell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rydell shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Rydell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rydell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away. Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva throws a leg kick that is checked and Rydell counters by clinching up. Silva breaks from the clinch.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rydell is looking to counter the offense by Silva and move into the clinch. Silva throws a nice inside leg kick. Silva gets a double leg takedown into Rydell's guard. Silva preventing the sweep. Rydell working for a triangle but Silva defends it easily.
Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Rydell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rydell lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Silva working hard to break the clinch. Rydell breaks the clinch.
Rydell shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Rydell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Silva drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rydell defends it well. Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rydell! Rydell sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Rydell trying to control from the bottom.
Rydell makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rydell. Silva wants to control from the top but Rydell keeps moving. Rydell is trying to keep Silva in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rydell being controlled here, momentarily. Rydell is striking off his back. Silva thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rydell defends it well. Rydell wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Silva not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rydell is trying to get back to full guard. Silva blocks the strikes from Rydell.

Rydell tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control. Rydell looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rydell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rydell is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva is thwarting Rydell's attempts to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adriano Silva dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Silva throws a leg kick but Rydell sees it coming and moves out of range. Rydell wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Rydell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rydell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Rydell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Silva stuffs the takedown. Silva throws a nice looking combination but Rydell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rydell goes for a double leg but Silva avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silva continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Rydell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rydell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Silva defends well and Rydell ends up having to push Silva into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Roger Rydell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Silva tries to work over Rydell's front leg with a kick but Rydell checks it. Rydell is looking to counter the offense by Silva and move into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rydell did well to prevent Silva getting side control. Rydell is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rydell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silva is taking a breather. Rydell says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rydell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rydell is not content to let Silva control the position. Silva content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Silva is trying to control the action in half guard but Rydell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Rydell is trying to control but can't.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Silva uses his free foot to push down on Rydell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rydell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rydell regains half guard. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Rydell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Silva seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Silva lands a nice short elbow. Rydell has hold of Silva's hands but Silva slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Rydell moves into full guard.
Silva looking to sit in guard and control but Rydell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rydell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!
Silva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rydell has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Silva but great work by Rydell. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Rydell throwing shots but missing, from side control. Rydell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working. Silva sneaks back into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva is defending against the submission attempts here by Rydell.

Silva is not content to let Rydell control the position. Rydell looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva is not content to let Rydell control the position. Rydell stalling away here and it's allowed Silva to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adriano Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Silva leaves Rydell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Silva misses with a two punch combination.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva. Silva throws a jab but it's blocked by Rydell. Silva looks to land a left hand but Rydell moved out of range nicely. Rydell is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Rydell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Silva changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Silva scores with a jab. Silva throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Rydell is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Silva. Silva stuffs the takedown. Rydell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rydell. Silva leaves Rydell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rydell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Silva uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Rydell with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silva to score with a decent uppercut. Adriano Silva seems to be getting the better of the standup. Silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rydell.
Silva loads up on a big right hand but Rydell slips the punch. Rydell tries to counter by clinching up but Silva breaks away and moves out of range. Silva leaves Rydell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Silva feints the counter takedown. Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rydell was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva. Rydell tries to counter by clinching up but Silva breaks away and moves out of range. Rydell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rydell checks a leg kick. Rydell is looking to counter the offense by Silva and move into the clinch. Silva drives through with a takedown into Rydell's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rydell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rydell looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Silva has picked Rydell up and slammed him! Rydell can't keep hold of the triangle and Silva manages to pass to side control! Silva avoids the strikes from the bottom by Rydell. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Rydell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Silva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rydell struggling a bit here.
And that's the end of the fight! Adriano Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Silva winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
