Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mountain Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Mann! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antonio Ramos! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramos lands a body shot.
No joy there for Ramos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mann uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ramos. A counter left hand to the body from Mann misses its target. Mann throws a body punch but Ramos moves out of range. It seemed like Ramos was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ramos throws a lazy right hand but Mann sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ramos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ramos takes a shot right to the bread basket. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mann lands with a shot to the body. Mann keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Ramos counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mann lands with a straight right. Ramos didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Antonio Ramos has been cut. Ramos has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Mann throws a lazy uppercut
and Ramos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mann takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mann stuns Ramos with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ramos missing with a left hand there. Mann was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Mann misses with a wild body shot. Mann swings and misses with a shot to the body and Ramos counters with a nice uppercut. Mann loads up on a big right hand but Ramos slips the punch. Ramos looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mann misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ramos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mann ducks under a wild hook from Ramos. Mann paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mann slips under a jab. Mann appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Mann lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ramos at a distance.
Mann lands a slapping body shot.
Ramos takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Mann drops Ramos with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ramos looks back up at him and smiles so Mann waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mann pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mann dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ramos looks winded! Mann lands a glancing blow to the side of Ramos's head. Mann swings for the body but Ramos moves out of range.
It seemed like Ramos was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ramos is aggressively charging in as Mann backs up avoiding any damage. Mann tosses out a jab and Ramos runs right into it face first! Ramos is out cold! Mann dropped down on all fours and is barking in Ramos's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mountain Mann! Mountain Mann retains his heavyweight title! Mountain Mann decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
