Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terryn Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall comes into the arena with Skin for Skin blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terryn Dall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Abbot! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dall blocks a jab. A shot to the liver by Dall. Beautiful body shot. Dall blocks a jab. Dall lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Tony Abbot has been cut. Dall thumps Abbot with a low kick. Dall connects with a looping right hand.
Abbot uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dall. Abbot is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Dall throws a big shot that misses. Dall lands a leg kick that knocks Abbot off balance momentarily. Dall blocks a jab. Dall lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Dall drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Abbot is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dall. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dall jabbing away but nothing is landing. Dall throws a low kick but Abbot moves out of range easily. Abbot throws out a counter right but Dall avoids it with no problem. Abbot moves away from the strike by Dall. Dall connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall throws a big shot that misses. Dall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dall swings for the body but Abbot moves out of range.
Dall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Abbot manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Abbot being controlled here, momentarily. Abbot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dall drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Abbot manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dall has Abbot in his guard. Abbot slips nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abbot is looking to pass Dall's guard but actually Dall recovers to full guard. Dall pulls Abbot in close to prevent any damage. Abbot is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dall is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dall has escaped and now he's on top! Dall showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Abbot swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dall trying to control the position from guard on top but Abbot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Abbot is looking for a triangle but Dall pushes his legs off easily.
Abbot is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dall trying to control but Abbot is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Abbot working a defensive guard here.
Dall wants to control from the top but Abbot keeps moving. Dall passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dall tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Abbot, who protects the arm well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Abbot is not content to let Dall control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terryn Dall dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tony Abbot's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Dall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice shot lands for Dall. Dall ducks under a wild hook from Abbot. Dall is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Dall misses with a hook. Dall dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dall throws a hook to the side of Abbot's head but Abbot sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dall rushes Abbot and presses him up against the cage. Dall struggles to land a body shot inside as Abbot controls his hands.
Dall lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Abbot backwards. Dall pulls guard effortlessly. Dall keeping moving, preventing Abbot from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall is pulling down on Abbot's head to control his posture. Abbot trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall pulls Abbot in close to prevent any damage. Dall keeping full guard, as Abbot tries to pass. Abbot must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Abbot wants to control from the top but Dall keeps moving. Dall wants to sweep but no luck. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Terryn Dall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dall trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dall keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Abbot. Jab by Dall. Dall throws a sloppy head kick and Abbot moves out of range easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dall avoids the body shot from Abbot.
Dall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dall cracks a nice hook into Abbot's ribs. Dall closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Abbot did well to prevent Dall getting side control. Dall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Abbot sees it coming and defends easily. Dall wants to pass the guard but Abbot is defending well. Dall is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Abbot! Dall looking to control but Abbot is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dall sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Abbot is looking to improve his position but Dall isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall wants to finish this one by submission but Abbot is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dall. Dall jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Abbot is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Abbot and Dall has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
You can see the frustration on Abbot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Abbot is not content to let Dall control the position. Abbot tries to bench press Dall off him but Dall keeps the position.

Dall advances to mount. Dall swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Terryn Dall! After winning the bout, Terryn Dall thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
