Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jules Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wal Vrinz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jules Bryant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wal Vrinz! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vrinz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bryant wants to control but Vrinz is keeping busy.
Vrinz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Vrinz trying to control from half guard but Bryant is working away. Vrinz controlling the action here. Bryant is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bryant wants to improve his position but Vrinz is controlling well.
Vrinz controlling the action here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryant is trying to stand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bryant keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Vrinz throws a front kick aimed at Bryant's knee but Bryant avoids it well. Vrinz misses with a double jab
and Bryant counters with a shoot takedown. Vrinz fights it but they end up in guard. Bryant drops back looking for a leg! Vrinz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vrinz manages to kick Bryant off! Bryant jumps back into Vrinz's guard. Vrinz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryant gets to his feet. Vrinz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Vrinz throws a head kick that misses. Vrinz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bryant to the ground. Vrinz is now in Bryant's guard. Bryant seems keen to control Vrinz's posture. Bryant looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vrinz is one step ahead there. Bryant really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Vrinz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vrinz tries to free his leg and advance position but Bryant is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vrinz trying to control but Bryant is working from the bottom. Bryant is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vrinz is controlling him. Vrinz is stalling in the full guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bryant wants to stand but Vrinz is controlling the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Vrinz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bryant is looking to get back to is feet but Vrinz passes into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bryant is pushing Vrinz's head away, looking to escape. Vrinz manages to hold on to the position though. Bryant is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Vrinz works to advance to full mount. Bryant defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Vrinz landing shots from mount. Vrinz controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bryant is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position. Vrinz goes for an armbar but Bryant turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bryant. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wal Vrinz will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Vrinz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bryant avoids it really well and circles away. Vrinz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bryant manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Bryant has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vrinz uses from the top position. Jules Bryant overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Vrinz stopping the sweep attempt from Bryant. Bryant being controlled here, momentarily. Bryant wants to get back to his feet but Vrinz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vrinz throws a big elbow that misses. Vrinz trying to control but Bryant is working from the bottom. Vrinz looking to sit in guard and control but Bryant gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bryant wants to control from the top but Vrinz keeps moving. Vrinz looking to control.
Bryant has gone for a leg lock! Vrinz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bryant's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vrinz postures up.
Bryant wants to improve his position but instead Vrinz has moved into half guard.
Bryant is doing well to control the position and prevent Vrinz from advancing to side control. Bryant pushes Vrinz off looking to stand but Vrinz dives back in and keeps control.
Vrinz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryant has hold of Vrinz's hands but Vrinz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Vrinz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bryant defends it well. Vrinz is taking a breather. Bryant says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Vrinz prevents Bryant from standing back up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bryant moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Vrinz's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bryant is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bryant shoots in but Vrinz avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bryant backing away here, and Vrinz unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Vrinz shoots in but no luck this time. Vrinz throws a head kick that misses. Vrinz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bryant tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vrinz is in Bryant's guard. Bryant is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Vrinz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bryant is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vrinz, into his guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bryant wants to control from the top but Vrinz keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jules Bryant will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A short right from Bryant. Bryant has Vrinz pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bryant pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vrinz tumbling to the mat - Bryant dives into Vrinz's guard. Vrinz pushes Bryant off and scrambles back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bryant looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vrinz is defended easily by Bryant.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryant fails to land the takedown. Vrinz is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Vrinz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bryant defends well and Vrinz ends up having to push Bryant into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Vrinz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jules Bryant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wal Vrinz. Bryant looks for a takedown but Vrinz sprawls well. Bryant tries to clinch but Vrinz is having none of it. Vrinz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Vrinz gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bryant is looking for a takedown. A left hand lands to the body for Vrinz.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryant fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Vrinz gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bryant regains guard.
Vrinz's corner is telling him to maintain position. Vrinz postures up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bryant is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Vrinz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bryant trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Vrinz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Vrinz has Bryant up against the cage in a clinch.
Bryant jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vrinz walks away with a smile on his face. Bryant gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bryant fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bryant fails to land the takedown. Vrinz looks like he wants to counter punch here. Vrinz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bryant tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vrinz is in Bryant's guard. Vrinz trying to control the position from guard on top but Bryant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bryant wants to stand and escape but Vrinz is having none of it. Vrinz throws a big right hand that misses. Vrinz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vrinz stays in close to Bryant's body and controls the position. Vrinz stands and steps away. Bryant gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that's the end of the fight! Wal Vrinz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Vrinz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
