Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rory Espinoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Bobeth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rory Espinoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Bobeth!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bobeth gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Espinoza is trying to break the clinch but Bobeth is controlling him.
Espinoza throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bobeth blocks it with crossed arms.
Bobeth lands a left hand.

Espinoza pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bobeth takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Espinoza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bobeth dives in and grabs Espinoza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Espinoza pushes down on Bobeth's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bobeth counters with a series of strikes. Espinoza will be more careful next time no doubt.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Espinoza is looking to control Bobeth's arms but Bobeth gets an underhook and turns him. Now Espinoza has his back to the cage.

I think Bobeth has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
