Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Pall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Lacey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doug Lacey has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Pall's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Pall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doug Lacey! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lacey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lacey showed some decent athleticism there. Lacey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pall's head. Pall wants to control but Lacey is keeping busy.
Lacey is trying to work for a kimura but Pall is defending well.

Lacey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pall knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lacey is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lacey lands a nice short elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pall keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Lacey trying to mount his opponent but Pall defends it. Pall trying to control from the bottom.
Lacey not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lacey sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pall defending well though. Lacey tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Pall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lacey is working away from the top position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lacey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pall but Pall pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacey missing with a left hand there. Pall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lacey cracks Pall with a good jab. Lacey misses with a two punch combination.
Lacey is looking to clinch but Pall is avoiding it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Pall.
Lacey stuffs the takedown. Lacey misses with a takedown attempt and Pall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lacey looks gassed! Lacey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pall's guard. Pall controls Lacey momentarily but Lacey frees himself. Pall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lacey is one step ahead there. Lacey passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lacey wants to stand up but Pall is controlling the position.
Lacey wants to free his trapped foot but Pall is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pall is looking to control Lacey's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pall avoid being mounted? Lacey trying to mount his opponent but Pall defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doug Lacey dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lacey wants to clinch and Pall counters with a good, hard body kick but Lacey shrugs it off. Lacey throws a body punch but Pall moves out of range. Pall drives through with a takedown into guard. Lacey wants to sweep here but Pall controlling him for the moment. Pall wants to control from the top but Lacey keeps moving. Pall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lacey works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lacey throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Lacey is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Pall tries to score a body lock takedown but Lacey shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pall manages to break the clinch.
Lacey swings and misses with a shot to the body and Pall counters by clinching up. Pall pulls guard effortlessly. Lacey won't allow Pall to sweep him here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pall has momentary wrist control but Lacey slips an elbow through the middle. Pall looking to control.
Lacey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pall swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pall preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lacey postures up.
Lacey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pall, up you get! Lacey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lacey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pall counters with a single leg into guard. Lacey didn't expect that. Pall wants to control from the top but Lacey keeps moving. Pall stops Lacey from standing up. Lacey looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lacey keeping moving, preventing Pall from controlling successfully. Lacey is working an open guard so Pall takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pall actively working from the bottom here. Pall won't allow Lacey to pass to mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. Lacey tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pall cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pall swats away the attempt to clinch by Lacey. Pall showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lacey.
A punch combination from Lacey misses. Pall rushes Lacey and presses him up against the cage. Pall trying to land knees to the body.
Lacey blocks a punch to the side of the head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jon Pall will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Lacey shoots in and drives through. Pall sprawls well. Lacey moves into the clinch. Pall wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lacey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pall has him pressed against the cage. Pall is working for takedown but Lacey is calmly controlling the position for now. Pall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lacey shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Lacey tries for a takedown but Pall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lacey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lacey lands in his opponent's guard. Pall wants to sweep but no luck. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lacey wants to pass the guard but Pall is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pall working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lacey. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pall will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Doug Lacey has got the better of the ground game so far. Lacey looking to pass the guard. Lacey is working Pall over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lacey stands up and waves to Pall to follow him. A nice inside leg kick there by Pall. That's going to slow Lacey down. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lacey drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jon Pall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doug Lacey.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pall pulls guard effortlessly. Lacey lands a couple of elbows. Lacey wants to pass the guard but Pall is keeping the position. Lacey wants to stand but Pall has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Pall wants to sweep but no luck. Pall is trying to keep Lacey in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacey stands up from Pall's guard - Lacey perhaps looking for a knockout. Pall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lacey throws a right and a left that Pall avoids nicely. Pall clinches up against the cage. Lacey stops a takedown attempt from Pall.
Lacey drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pall comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Pall can't break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lacey has had enough of the clinch but Pall keeps him there for the moment. Pall misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lacey.
Lacey keeps control of Pall as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lacey lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lacey working the head and body with strikes. Lacey lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lacey is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lacey is pressing down on Pall's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pall is holding on for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Doug Lacey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lacey has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
