Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Ortz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutaali Keijo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keijo has chosen CMX - Pyörivät Sähkökoneet as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephen Ortz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Brutaali Keijo! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keijo connects with a solid leg kick. Ortz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Keijo. Brutaali Keijo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheers as Keijo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ortz doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Stephen Ortz has been cut. Ortz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ortz appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Keijo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Keijo cracks Ortz with an open hand slap. Nice straight punches there by Keijo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Keijo. Keijo lands a front kick. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Keijo - that will leave a mark!
Keijo throws a lazy right hand but Ortz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The crowd cheers as Keijo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ortz doesn't seem phased though.
Ortz is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ortz closes the distance and clinches up with Keijo, looking for a takedown. Ortz pushes Keijo against the cage but Keijo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Oh Ortz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ortz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Keijo! Ortz seems to have got his legs back now. Keijo tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keijo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Keijo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ortz pulls his head out easily. Ortz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Keijo keeps working. Keijo trying to hold on to Ortz's head to control him but Ortz postures up.
Ortz wants to pass to mount but Keijo is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Keijo trying to control here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ortz trying to control from Keijo's half guard. Keijo has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Keijo keeping moving, preventing Ortz from controlling successfully. Ortz wants to pass the guard but Keijo is keeping the position. Keijo working for a triangle but Ortz defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Keijo keeping full guard, as Ortz tries to pass. Keijo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Keijo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Keijo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ortz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ortz tries to free his leg and advance position but Keijo is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ortz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Keijo manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keijo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ortz is working away from the top position though. Ortz is pressing down on Keijo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Keijo is holding on for now. Keijo is looking to improve his position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ortz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Keijo defends it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brutaali Keijo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Stephen Ortz's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Keijo throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Ortz counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Keijo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Keijo moves into full guard.
Stephen Ortz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ortz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Keijo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Keijo controls Ortz momentarily but Ortz frees himself. Ortz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ortz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Keijo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ortz trying to control the action but Keijo is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Keijo has escaped the position, nice work there. Ortz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ortz tries for a kimura but Keijo is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Keijo regains half guard there - taking advantage of Ortz's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. The fighters are battling for position here. Keijo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Keijo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ortz defends well. Keijo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Keijo works over Ortz with some ground and pound from guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keijo showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ortz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ortz can't keep his opponent in guard - Keijo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Ortz taking some punishment here, with Keijo in his half guard. Ortz has hold of Keijo's hands but Keijo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Keijo passes to side control. Keijo is looking to take a break and control but Ortz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Keijo working the body and head with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keijo wants to control but Ortz is keeping him busy. Keijo advances to mount. Keijo landing strikes from the mount and Ortz is in trouble! Keijo with a couple of short strikes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Keijo controlling from mount. Keijo avoids the attempt from Ortz to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brutaali Keijo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Stephen Ortz's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Keijo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Keijo tries to score with a low kick but Ortz moves his leg out of the way. Ortz appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Keijo jabs at Ortz's body. Keijo sends Ortz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Keijo is motioning to the referee to let Ortz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Ortz shoots in and bounces Keijo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Ortz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ortz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Keijo on the ground. Keijo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ortz controls the pace. Keijo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ortz has momentary wrist control but Keijo slips an elbow through the middle. Keijo postures up and lands a big shot to Ortz's brow. Keijo trying to control but Ortz is working from the bottom. Keijo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Keijo passes Ortz's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ortz taking some punishment here, with Keijo in his half guard. Keijo is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortz is refusing to be controlled, as Keijo sits in half guard. Ortz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Keijo is working away from the top position though. Keijo is keen to just control but Ortz is a slippery customer. Keijo prevents Ortz from improving his position. Ortz flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ortz is looking to control Keijo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ortz avoid being mounted?
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Keijo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ortz has a takedown stuffed. Keijo throws a body kick that misses. A big right from Keijo misses. Ortz feinted with a counter takedown. Keijo looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nice cross by Keijo. Stephen Ortz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brutaali Keijo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Keijo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Keijo wants it to stay on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Brutaali Keijo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Keijo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
