Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Cronos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cronos comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Miller has chosen Killers as his entrance music. Jeffrey Miller acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Cronos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 21 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeffrey Miller!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller drops his hands momentarily and Cronos takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cronos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cronos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Miller.
Cronos displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Miller with a hook.
Miller throws a jab but it's blocked by Cronos.
Miller swings for the body but Cronos moves out of range.
Miller misses with an uppercut. Cronos saw that one coming.
Miller on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Miller clinches with his opponent.
Cronos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Miller after a bit of a struggle.

Cronos is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Miller can't fight it off and eventually Cronos manages to take the fight to the floor. Miller looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Miller wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Cronos manages to pass to side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cronos is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Miller sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cronos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Miller is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.

Cronos is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Miller manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cronos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cronos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Miller takes one to the side of the head.
Miller throws a good cross that connects.
Miller misses with a head kick.
Cronos is looking to counter punch.
Miller lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A jab from Miller does it's job there.
Cronos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Miller.

That was a close round but I would say that Jose Cronos will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Miller throws a chopping leg kick but Cronos manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jeffrey Miller seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Miller takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cronos darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Miller throws a hook to the side of Cronos's head but Cronos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Jeffrey Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Miller rushes Cronos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Miller lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Miller throws a punch but it's blocked by Cronos.
Miller prevents Cronos from breaking the clinch.
Cronos tries for a takedown. No joy.
Miller fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Miller lands a shot to the body.
Cronos is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Miller pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Cronos is trying to drag Miller to the mat but Miller just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Miller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cronos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Cronos counters with a left and a right that stings Miller.
Miller throws the left hand but Cronos avoids the punch easily.
Miller fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Miller has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cronos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Miller finds it's way round the side to connect with Cronos's head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Despite the aggression on Miller's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Miller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cronos.

Nice uppercut lands for Cronos. That snapped Miller's head back.

I think Miller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
