Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arman Shaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glass Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Joe counters with a nice uppercut.

We've been informed that Joe has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Joe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shaker won't be happy with that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Joe connects with a nice short shot to Shaker's temple.

Shaker wants to get up but he can't break Joe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Shaker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arman Shaker.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shaker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
