Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gary Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Day might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Last minute - Great day to choke you out. Gary Day has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a big shot that misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Smith. That snapped Day's head back.
Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Day manages to avoid it.
Jab by Smith.
Day keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Smith drives through with a takedown into Day's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Day holds on and takes a little breather.
Smith thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Smith throwing strikes but missing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Day to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Smith is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Day pulls down on the head and he's put Smith to sleep! This one is all over!
