Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Lee! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee rushes Battle and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Battle breaks the clinch.
Lee tries for a takedown but Battle circles away easily and Battle counters with a three punch combo that has Lee backing up. Lee nods at Battle to acknowledge the strikes. Both fighters circling a little - Lee finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Battle as he jumps to the side. It looked like Battle was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Lee has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Battle fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Battle jumps into guard, dragging Lee to the mat.
Lee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lee stopping the sweep attempt from Battle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Battle lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Battle controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Battle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Battle, into his guard. Lee wants to control from the top but Battle keeps moving. Battle is pulling down on Lee's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Battle keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Battle managing to control the position. Battle looking for a sweep. Not yet Battle, not yet. Battle has Lee pulled in close to control his posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to control from the top but Battle keeps moving. Lee throwing strikes but missing. Lee works over Battle with some ground and pound from guard. Lee trying to stand up but can't free himself from Battle's guard. Lee working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Battle's head. Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Battle works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Battle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Battle blocks a head kick by Lee.
Battle went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Lee closes the distance and clinches. Battle successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Battle controlling Lee's posture. Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lee is pushing down on Battle's leg trying to pass to half guard. Battle is fighting to maintain full guard but Lee has managed to sneak the leg through. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Battle keeps control of the position for the meantime. Lee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Battle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bruce Lee will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Battle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lee replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Battle blocks it well. Battle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Battle wants it to stay on the feet. Battle throws a counter high kick but Lee was just alert enough to avoid it. Lee gets the takedown into side control. Battle is looking to regain half guard here but Lee keeps moving and retains side control. Battle can't do much from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Battle is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee wants to control but Battle is keeping him busy. Battle struggling a bit here. Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Battle has escaped the position, nice work there. Battle struggling a bit here. Lee trying to control the action but Battle is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lee landing strikes. Battle is trying to improve his position. Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Battle can't do much from the bottom here. Battle is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Battle stuck in half guard on the bottom here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Battle is looking to reverse the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lee has Battle pushed against the cage. Lee tries to score a body lock takedown but Battle shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Battle is trying to trip Lee. He has hold of a leg but Lee is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Battle persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Lee has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Battle is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee is stalling here.
Battle breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Battle darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage. Battle tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Battle smiles and moves away.
Bruce Battle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Lee. Lee works Battle's body with a nice hook. Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Battle swivels and escapes. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lee throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Bruce Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee shoots in and bounces Battle off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Battle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Battle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lee misses with a takedown and Battle counters with a three punch combo that has Lee backing up. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Battle stops Lee from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Battle looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Battle trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee wants to get back to full guard. Battle working the head and body with strikes. Battle is pressing down on Lee's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lee is holding on for now. Battle stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lee to get to his feet. Lee forces Battle back against the cage and clinches. Lee pulls Battle into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Battle working some strikes from top position. Lee keeping moving, preventing Battle from controlling successfully. Battle with a flurry of punches that miss. Battle has gone for a leg lock! Lee slips out almost immediately though and dives into Battle's guard. Lee wanted to stand there but Battle had control of the position. Battle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Battle looking to control.
Lee's corner is telling him to maintain position. Lee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Battle has a closed guard, preventing Lee from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Battle showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
