Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augusto Fillio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Routh! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Routh pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Routh tries a head kick but it misses.
Fillio looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Routh is wriggling around but Fillio manages to pass to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Routh pushes Fillio off looking to stand but Fillio dives back in and keeps control.
Fillio working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fillio is working for a kimura but Routh is defending it quite comfortably.
Routh is staying active underneath Fillio, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fillio wants to work for an arm triangle but Routh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Fillio prevents Routh from standing back up.
Routh wants to improve his position but Fillio is controlling well.
Routh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fillio is working for a submission of some sort.
Fillio thows a huge punch but Routh dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fillio not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fillio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Routh defends it well. Fillio wants to work for an arm triangle but Routh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Routh is trying to stand.
Fillio lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Routh wants to get back to his feet.
Routh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fillio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fillio is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Fillio is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Routh is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
