Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Techno Viking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Gael Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Viking might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Techno Viking. Dante Gael Roman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viking throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Viking lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Viking darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Roman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dante Gael Roman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roman jabs Viking right on the nose. Viking blinks but takes it well.
Roman takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Viking lands a right hook to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Roman. Those never looked like landing.
Roman misses with a hook.
Roman dives in and grabs Viking's left leg, looking for a takedown. Viking pushes down on Roman's head and hops out.
Viking is looking to counter punch.
Viking slips a jab from Roman.
Viking rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Roman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Viking scores with a hook to the body. Roman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Roman throws a combination that misses
and Viking counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice straight punches there by Viking. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Viking.
Roman takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Viking instigates a clinch.
Viking works on Roman's body with a couple of short punches.
Viking doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Viking breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Viking really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Viking lands with a shot to the body.
Viking lands with a nice combination. Roman backs away looking to recover.
Roman is rocked!
Roman get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Roman stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Viking runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Techno Viking!
A very excited looking Techno Viking rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
