Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darian Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darian Frank will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Frank. Frank circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Frank lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Dominguez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dominguez rushes Frank and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Frank cracks Dominguez with a nice body shot.
Frank's coach down at Thibodeauxs was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Frank's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Dominguez has picked Frank up - he's going for a ride! Dominguez dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dominguez is nestled in close to Frank, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Dominguez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Frank is just riding it out for now. Dominguez eventually gives up the hold.

Dominguez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Dominguez wants to take a breather but Frank is having none of it.

Frank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dominguez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Frank pushes Dominguez back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Frank blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Frank tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Dominguez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Frank can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frank got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dominguez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frank has managed to get both his arms back between Dominguez's legs - danger averted.

Dominguez is looking to cinch up a triangle. Frank throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dominguez's body to avoid the submission. Dominguez has instead reached around Frank's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dominguez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
