Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hirusho Matasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Silver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hirusho Matasaki! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Matasaki gets caught flat footed, as Silver shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Matasaki tries to land a sweep but no joy. Matasaki pulls Silver in to control the position. Silver wants to stand but Matasaki is controlling his posture from full guard. Silver wants to stand and escape but instead Matasaki has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Matasaki seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Matasaki being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Matasaki manages to pass to side control. Silver looks like he's trying to stand up.
Matasaki prevents Silver from improving his position. Silver tries to kick Matasaki off but Matasaki keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Silver trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Matasaki not doing much here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Matasaki works his foot free and advances to mount. Silver wants to control but Matasaki is having none of it. Silver keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Matasaki content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Matasaki has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Silver on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silver tries to get out of the position. You get the feeling that Silver really doesn't like being in this position too much.
My spies in Hard Knocks Training inform me that Matasaki has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Matasaki misses with a head shot. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Silver tries to improve his position but instead Matasaki has taken his back! Matasaki avoiding Silver 's attempts to control his hands. Silver is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Matasaki.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matasaki's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Silver tries to escape the position.
Silver is trying to stand back up. Matasaki is riding his opponent, not letting Silver buck him off. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Matasaki not allowing Silver to control his hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hirusho Matasaki dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Matasaki lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Matasaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A countering left hand to the body from Matasaki misses. A cross from Matasaki lands. Silver throws a chopping leg kick but Matasaki manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Silver throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silver misses with a double jab
and Silver takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Matasaki jabs Silver to the body, keeping him at a distance. Matasaki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silver.
Matasaki lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Matasaki circles away from the clinch attempt.
A nice combination there by Matasaki.
Silver is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Matasaki did well to prevent Silver getting side control. Oh Silver is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Matasaki is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silver's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silver's back! Hirusho Matasaki has got the better of the ground game so far. Good control from Matasaki. Silver wants to get back to his feet. Silver seems to have got his legs back now. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Matasaki has his arm under Silver's chin here. Game over son! Matasaki squeezes tightly and Silver is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hirusho Matasaki! In his post fight interview, Hirusho Matasaki started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
