Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Corey Truck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Franky Page!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page fails with a takedown attempt.
Page has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Truck is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Truck shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Page with the counter takedown but Truck avoids it easily.
Truck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Page goes for a double leg but Truck avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Truck continues to drive forward.
Truck is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Page.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Page.
Truck seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Corey Truck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franky Page.
Truck tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Page was well out of range. Poor timing from Truck.
Truck misses with a low kick.
Page darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Page's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Truck is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Page's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Page's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Page is really stuck here.
Page avoids the strikes from Truck.
Truck doesn't have the hooks in and Page manages to turn into his guard.
Page throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

We've been hearing good reports from Truck's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Truck wants to sweep but no luck.

Page distracts Truck with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Page postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Truck on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Truck tries to get out of the position.

Page stands up over Truck, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Page's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Page lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Truck is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Page with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Oh Truck is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Page loads up on a big left hand. Truck felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Page looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Truck can't hide his disappointment, as Page celebrates the victory.
