Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Wijkstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Miguel Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Wijkstrom! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wijkstrom stuffs the takedown attempt from Ramirez. Ramirez gets slowly back to his feet. Alexander Wijkstrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wijkstrom fails with the takedown so Ramirez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wijkstrom looking to control.
Ramirez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ramirez won't allow Wijkstrom to get back to his feet. Ramirez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wijkstrom swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wijkstrom manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ramirez manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wijkstrom stopping the sweep attempt from Ramirez. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wijkstrom throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wijkstrom misses with a takedown attempt and Ramirez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ramirez postures up in Wijkstrom's guard and throws a big left but Wijkstrom blocks it. Wijkstrom looking for a sweep. Not yet Wijkstrom, not yet. Wijkstrom looks gassed! Wijkstrom had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ramirez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wijkstrom Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ramirez's back instead. Ramirez trying to control the action but Wijkstrom just sinks the hooks in. Ramirez tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ramirez gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramirez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ramirez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wijkstrom must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Wijkstrom is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wijkstrom wants to stand but Ramirez has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ramirez looking for a sweep. Not yet Ramirez, not yet. Wijkstrom tries to free his leg and advance position but Ramirez is retaining full guard. Wijkstrom drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wijkstrom jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ramirez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wijkstrom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wijkstrom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ramirez is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wijkstrom is refusing to be controlled, as Ramirez sits in half guard. Wijkstrom wants to get back to full guard. Ramirez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wijkstrom trying to control but Ramirez postures up.

Ramirez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wijkstrom's head. Wijkstrom is holding on to half guard well. Ramirez is keen to just control but Wijkstrom is a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ramirez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wijkstrom counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ramirez won't be happy with that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wijkstrom tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Wijkstrom tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wijkstrom has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Ramirez dominated that round. The cut man is working on Alexander Wijkstrom's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ramirez misses with a takedown attempt and Wijkstrom counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wijkstrom trying to control the position from guard on top but Ramirez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wijkstrom slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wijkstrom working the ground and pound. Wijkstrom lands an elbow. Wijkstrom tries for a kimura but Ramirez is defending well. Wijkstrom takes a little break here. Ramirez wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Wijkstrom goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ramirez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wijkstrom but great work by Ramirez. Ramirez wants to stand but Wijkstrom has his arm trapped. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ramirez gets to mount! Wijkstrom was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wijkstrom wants to control but Ramirez is having none of it. Ramirez looking to control but Wijkstrom is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wijkstrom holds of for dear life. Wijkstrom wants to control but Ramirez is having none of it. Wijkstrom taking shots to the head. Ramirez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Wijkstrom is surviving well by controlling Ramirez's body position as best he can. Ramirez sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Ramirez is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Ramirez!
