Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, LaMarcus Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Diaz swinging wildly here.
West has closed the distance and engaged Diaz in a clinch.
West landing knees to the body.
West scores with a knee to the head.
West stalling.
Diaz tries to circle away but West has him pinned against the cage.
West pulls guard effortlessly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz wants to stand and escape but instead West has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
West throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Diaz manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
West pulls Diaz into guard.
West has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Diaz off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Diaz throws an off balance right hand
and West holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Diaz wants to break free but West has control.
Diaz is looking to break free of the clinch but West has double underhooks.
West pulls guard effortlessly.
Diaz is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but West has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Diaz is looking to defend but West has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Diaz! West pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Diaz taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Wayde West!
In his post fight interview, Wayde West started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
