Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregory O Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Squireson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gregory O Connor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Barry Squireson! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the body from O Connor misses and Squireson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. O Connor lands with a good body shot. Squireson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Squireson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. O Connor throws a half hearted mid kick. A little jabbing left from Squireson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Squireson checks a leg kick. O Connor throws out a leg kick but Squireson moves out of range and O Connor only half commits. It seemed like Squireson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. O Connor lands with an uppercut that bounces Squireson off the cage and back into range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Squireson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
O Connor goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. O Connor throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Squireson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. O Connor throws a series of punches but Squireson moves out of range. Squireson appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Squireson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Squireson throws out a counter right but O Connor avoids it with no problem. O Connor misses with a body shot
enabling Squireson to counter with a crisp jab. O Connor throws a jab when Squireson was well out of range. Squireson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. O Connor misses with a body shot
and Squireson counters with a straight right hand. O Connor cracks Squireson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Squireson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
O Connor is rocked! Squireson misses with a left hand enabling O Connor to counter with a crisp jab. O Connor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Squireson was well out of range. Poor timing from O Connor. O Connor is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Squireson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Oh O Connor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. O Connor misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
O Connor seems to have got his legs back now. O Connor misses with a body kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. O Connor throws a leg kick and Squireson counters with a nice right hand that sends O Connor toppling to the canvas! O Connor scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Squireson finish him?! O Connor connects with a crisp jab. O Connor throws a body shot but no joy. O Connor scores with a push kick. O Connor tries to land a body kick enabling Squireson to counter with a crisp jab. Squireson slips under a jab from O Connor. Squireson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! O Connor had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. O Connor misses with a straight left.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Squireson throws a big shot that misses. O Connor misses with an uppercut. Squireson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. O Connor throws a front kick aimed at Squireson's knee but Squireson avoids it well. A countering left hand to the body from Squireson misses. O Connor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Squireson on the side of the head. O Connor misses with a left hand and Squireson counters with a right hand to the body. O Connor throws a left and a right that both miss
and Squireson counters with a left to the body. Squireson staying out of range there. O Connor fails to land with a series of punches.
Squireson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from O Connor with a body shot. O Connor throws a combination that misses and Squireson counters with a nice uppercut. Squireson avoids the head kick by O Connor.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Squireson lands a nice shot to the body.
O Connor is breathing heavily. O Connor throws a body punch but Squireson moves out of range. Squireson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Squireson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Squireson throws a shot from downtown. O Connor moves away and avoids it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. O Connor swings away with a body shot that misses
and Squireson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Gregory O Connor has been cut. Squireson throws a body shot but no joy. Squireson takes a body punch but keeps moving. O Connor throws a wild combination but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Barry Squireson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Gregory O Connor's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Squireson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. O Connor scores with the left hand. Squireson knows he should have avoided that one. Squireson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's one minute gone in the round. O Connor tries to bum rush Squireson with a series of wild strikes but Squireson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Squireson avoids the body shot from O Connor.
Barry Squireson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Squireson looks to land a left hand but O Connor moved out of range nicely. The fighters circle momentarily. O Connor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Squireson cracks O Connor with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! O Connor falls to his knees and Squireson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
