Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Arnold Rimmer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, rocky balboa! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from balboa. Rimmer slips under a jab. balboa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. rocky balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. balboa misses with a looping right. A swing and a miss from balboa. balboa throws a hook but Rimmer avoids it easily. Rimmer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rimmer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from balboa. An inside leg kick lands from Rimmer. Rimmer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says balboa as he avoids it easily. balboa steps into range and cracks Rimmer with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Rimmer flops backwards and balboa dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Arnold Rimmer has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! balboa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rimmer is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rimmer has a closed guard, preventing balboa from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. balboa looks gassed! Rimmer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rimmer lands a front kick. Rimmer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rimmer not doing much here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. balboa is looking to get back to is feet but Rimmer passes into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. balboa wants to get back to his feet but Rimmer is dominant here and he's now got balboa's back! balboa controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Rimmer really is a fat lump. Rimmer is riding his opponent, not letting balboa buck him off. balboa is trying to stand back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rimmer has his opponent's back but balboa is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Rimmer. Rimmer scores with a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rimmer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. balboa wants to get back to his feet. balboa tries to kick Rimmer off in order to stand up. Rimmer Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Rimmer controls the position. Rimmer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rimmer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt balboa. Rimmer scores a takedown into full mount! Rimmer raining down shots from the mount! balboa tries to buck Rimmer off but he can't manage it. Rimmer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

balboa is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Rimmer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rimmer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. balboa wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Rimmer controlling the pace for now. Rimmer won't let balboa get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Rimmer controlling the position easily from mount. balboa throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rimmer on the side of the head. Rimmer staying out of range there. Rimmer tries for a takedown but balboa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rimmer defending well as balboa loads up on a big left hand. balboa looks to land a left hand but Rimmer moved out of range nicely. Rimmer gets the takedown into side control. balboa is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rimmer has just dragged him back down to the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rimmer moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. balboa tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's one minute gone in the round. balboa is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Rimmer biding his time, controlling balboa. balboa wants to get back to his feet. Rimmer is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

A big right from balboa misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rimmer lands a with a good body shot. Rimmer looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Rimmer prevents balboa from standing back up.
