Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lamar Allen! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michael has closed the distance and engaged Allen in a clinch.
Allen wants a takedown.
Allen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Michael smiles and moves away.
Allen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Michael. Michael obviously looking to wear him down.
Michael takes the fight into the clinch. Allen blocking some punches.
Allen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Michael just stands there and leans against the cage. Balbus Michael has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lamar Allen. Michael tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Michael lands a left hand that snaps the head of Allen backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michael with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Allen has Michael pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Michael manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Michael swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Allen pulls Michael into guard.
Allen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Michael defends it easily. Allen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Allen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Michael works a leg free and moves into half guard. Allen wants to control but Michael is keeping busy and won't allow it. Michael wants to work for an arm triangle but Allen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Michael tries to pass to full mount but Allen defends it. Allen is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Michael has latched onto it... Big trouble! Michael pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Allen is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Michael!
