Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Norman Havret (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edwin Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Havret! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edwin Sandoval! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sandoval shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Havret pinned against the cage. Havret gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sandoval shoots and misses and Havret counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Havret shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sandoval eats them both and turns towards Havret to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Havret cracks Sandoval with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Sandoval ducks right into an uppercut from Havret. Sandoval shoots in for a takedown but Havret shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Norman Havret has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edwin Sandoval. Sandoval changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Havret looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. This has been an exciting period of action! Havret is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Havret takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Sandoval has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Havret is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandoval trying to control the position but Havret is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Havret is pushing Sandoval's head away, looking to escape. Sandoval manages to hold on to the position though. Sandoval tries for a kimura but Havret is defending well. Sandoval working the ground and pound. Havret knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sandoval on the ground. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Havret throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Sandoval is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Havret's half guard. Havret tries to kick Sandoval off but Sandoval keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Havret trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Havret is in a horrible position here. Sandoval smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Havret on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Havret tries to get out of the position. Sandoval is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Havret is surviving well by controlling Sandoval's body position as best he can. This has been an exciting period of action! Havret keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sandoval can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Havret is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by Sandoval. Sandoval wants to control the pace but Havret is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandoval looking to secure an arm triangle but Havret defends it well. Sandoval trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Havret tries to hold on but Sandoval pushes him away. We've been informed that Sandoval has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Sandoval trying to control but Havret is having none of it. Sandoval controlling from the full mount. Havret's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sandoval is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Havret to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Havret shrugs it off. BOOM! Sandoval connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sandoval punishing his opponent with strikes. Havret wants to hold on but Sandoval pushes him away. Sandoval jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Havret is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Havret and Sandoval has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Sandoval lands a nice forearm strike. Havret wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Edwin Sandoval will probably get the nod. That's time! Havret's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Havret tries to sprawl but Sandoval drives through with a takedown into half guard. Havret kicks off Sandoval and gets to his feet. Havret lands a jab. Sandoval closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Sandoval tries for a takedown but Havret circles away easily and Havret counters with a leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Havret, as that shot connected.
Sandoval takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Havret lands with a kick to the ribs.
Havret looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Sandoval misses with a takedown attempt and Sandoval takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sandoval is breathing heavily. Sandoval takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sandoval throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Havret's waist but Havret gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sandoval off to one side. It looks like Havret has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Norman Havret has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edwin Sandoval. Sandoval shoots and misses and Havret counters with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good shot there by Havret. Havret comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Havret fakes the leg kick and cracks Sandoval in the body. A kick lands to the mid section there for Havret. Havret lands with a straight right. Sandoval didn't see that one coming. Havret feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sandovals jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Sandoval tries for a takedown but Havret sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Havret dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Sandoval is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Edwin Sandoval is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sandoval takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Norman Havret is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Havret with a hook. Havret throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Sandoval takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Norman Havret seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sandoval shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Havret lands a nice looking body kick. Havret lands with a shot to the body. Sandoval takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Havret feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sandoval sprawling to the canvas! Sandoval rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Havret finish him?!
Sandoval is rocked! Havret sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Sandoval's defenses. It connects perfectly with Sandoval's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
