Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nikki Sixx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Delode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sixx comes to the cage accompanied by Life Is Beautiful. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Delode was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Delode drives through with a takedown into guard.
Delode trying to control but Sixx is working from the bottom.
Delode controlling from the top position.
Delode is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Delode wants to stand but Sixx is controlling his posture from full guard.
Delode must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Delode trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Delode got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sixx has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Delode has managed to get both his arms back between Sixx's legs - danger averted.

Delode avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sixx is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Delode tries to kick Sixx off but Sixx keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Sixx is looking for a kimura but Delode is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sixx to get the leverage.

Sixx is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Delode sees it coming and defends easily.
Delode is controlling Sixx's trapped leg to prevent Sixx from advancing to side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
