Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Clovey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer Cole looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Spencer Cole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Clovey! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clovey fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Clovey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cole! Clovey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cole. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. A nice elbow there by Clovey. A nice elbow there by Clovey. Clovey unloading with bombs! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clovey lands a big shot there that rocks Cole but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cole wants to hold on but Clovey pushes him away. Clovey is landing with some decent strikes but Cole is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Clovey scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Cole is breathing heavily. Clovey has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Cole's face.

Cole is rocked! Cole tries to hold on but Clovey pushes him away. Oh Cole is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Clovey working away from the top, dropping strikes. Cole is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cole in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Clovey lands a heavy elbow. Clovey lands a big elbow. Clovey lands a big elbow. Clovey with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Cole tries to hold on but Clovey pushes him away. Cole is trying desperately to improve position. Clovey connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Cole defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Clovey. Clovey won't let Cole get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Cole is desperately trying to improve his position but Clovey has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cole is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Clovey scoring with strikes but Cole is staying in there. Clovey fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Clovey looking to finish Cole with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cole! Cole slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Clovey prevents Cole from improving his position. Cole is looking to escape. Cole wants to control but Clovey is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cole is defending against the submission attempts here by Clovey.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cole is pressing down on Clovey's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Clovey tries to stand but Cole is controlling from the bottom. Cole working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clovey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clovey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Clovey tries to stand but Cole is controlling from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cole looking to hit a scissor sweep but Clovey is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Clovey dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Clovey lands a with a good body shot. Cole wants to clinch up but Clovey keeps it at a distance. Cole misses with the combination.
Clovey drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clovey is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cole has escaped the position, nice work there. Cole struggling a bit here. Clovey works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole regains half guard. Cole has hold of Clovey's hands but Clovey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Clovey is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cole doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clovey. Cole trying to control from the bottom.
Cole gets full guard. Clovey scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Clovey must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Clovey thows a big elbow that misses. Cole seems keen to control Clovey's posture. Cole trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Cole is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Clovey missing with punches from the bottom.
Cole is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Clovey is trying to stand up here but Cole is controlling him well. Cole is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Cole wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clovey keeps working. Clovey flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cole is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Clovey has managed to free his arm - good work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Clovey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cole's waist but Cole gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clovey off to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Spencer Cole will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Clovey throws a sloppy head kick and Cole moves out of range easily. Clovey fails with a takedown attempt. Clovey slips under a jab. Clovey gets a clinch. Clovey has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cole is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Cole struggles to land a body shot inside as Clovey controls his hands.
Cole is trying to break the clinch but Clovey has him pressed against the cage. Cole's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cole darts in trying to clinch and Clovey counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cole won't be happy with that. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Clovey decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cole to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clovey tries to avoid it but Cole manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clovey to the ground. Clovey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Clovey throws a nice looking combination but Cole bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cole tries to clinch up and Clovey counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Clovey with a flurry of punches that miss. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cole is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Clovey has a closed guard, preventing Cole from standing up. Clovey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Clovey looking for subs off his back but Cole has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Clovey throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Cole uses his free foot to push down on Clovey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Clovey. Cole is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Clovey can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cole is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Clovey gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Cole tries to land knees in the clinch but Clovey avoids the damage to the body. Clovey manages to break the clinch.
Cole tries to bum rush Clovey with a series of wild strikes but Clovey uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Clovey throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cole counters with a solid body kick. Clovey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cole.
Cole lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Clovey tries to clinch up but Cole circles away and keeps his distance. Nice body kick from Cole. Cole tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Clovey takes the fight into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Nathan Clovey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Clovey has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
