The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Clay closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hunt circles away.
A slow jab from Hunt misses its intended target.
Nice defenses there by Hunt.
Gordus Clay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clay ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hunt takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Matt Hunt has been cut.
Hunt throws a shot from downtown. Clay moves away and avoids it.
Clay throws a right and a left that Hunt avoids nicely.
Clay throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunt.
Hunt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Clay wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clay moves out of range as Hunt strikes.
Clay takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Hunt has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD Gym of the Gods in the buildup to the fight.
Clay throws a poor cross that misses
and Hunt counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hunt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Donk. Clay catches Hunt right on the button with a cross.
Clay changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Clay moves into range and clinches up with Hunt.
Hunt prevents the takedown attempt.
Hunt misses with some punches.
Clay works on Hunt's body with a couple of short punches.
Hunt lands with a light punch inside.
Clay is rocked!
Hunt throws a head punch that misses.
Clay is still on wobbly legs! Can Hunt finish him?
Hunt swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Clay misses with a body punch.
Hunt has a couple of punches blocked by Clay.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clay blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hunt has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Clay - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Hunt, and another! Clay is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Matt Hunt!
After winning the bout, Matt Hunt thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
