And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lu Wai Ping!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander looks to throw the jab but Wai Ping is out of range.
Alexander misses with a jab, cross combination.
Alexander has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Alexander digs a good hook to Wai Ping's body.

Wai Ping clinches up against the cage.

Wai Ping throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Alexanders head.

Wai Ping rushes Alexander and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Alexander throws a nice looking combination but Wai Ping bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wai Ping has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Alexander throws a right and a left that Wai Ping avoids nicely.
Wai Ping wants to counter the offense by Alexander and move into the clinch position.

Wai Ping looks to land a left hand but Alexander moved out of range nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that George Alexander will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wai Ping cracks Alexander with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
