Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Volland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keller comes to the cage accompanied by War Music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Virgil Keller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Volland! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keller closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Keller has taken the fight to the clinch.
Keller wants the takedown. Volland is fighting it off but Keller persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Volland's guard against the cage. Volland looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Volland working for a triangle but Keller defends it easily.
Volland tries to land a sweep but no joy. Volland keeping moving, preventing Keller from controlling successfully. Volland has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Keller has passed into side control.
Volland tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Keller presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Volland tries to get back to half guard but can't. Keller landing shots from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Volland is working to get back to half guard.
Keller can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Volland is looking to escape. Volland wants to hold on but Keller pushes him away. Keller throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Volland is desperately trying to improve his position but Keller has a good base and remains in mount. Volland tries to improve his position but instead Keller has taken his back! Volland tries to escape but Keller has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Keller gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Keller trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Keller lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Keller.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Keller has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Volland. Volland tries to roll but Keller sticks to his back.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Volland keeps trying to improve his position. Keller is trying to stick to Volland's back but Volland is turning into Keller. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Keller's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Volland. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Keller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Volland advances position into side control! Volland is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Keller stops Volland from passing to mount. Keller gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Volland works his way into full mount! Volland can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Keller is looking to escape. Volland might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Keller haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Keller is controlling an arm, preventing Volland from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Volland throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keller is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Volland controlling from mount. Volland wants to control but Keller has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Keller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Keller. Volland wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving. Keller controls Volland momentarily but Volland frees himself. Volland looking to pass the guard. Keller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Volland stopping the sweep attempt from Keller. Volland is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Keller has momentary wrist control but Volland slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Virgil Keller dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Volland scores with a sloppy right hand. Keller should have avoided that one. Keller drives through and clinches with Volland against the cage.
Volland misses with a punch to the body.
Volland is trying to trip Keller. He has hold of a leg but Keller is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Volland persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Volland is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Let's hope that Volland has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Volland trying to control the position from guard on top but Keller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Keller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Volland can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Volland tries to free his leg and advance position but Keller is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keller is trying to keep Volland in close.
Keller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Volland's guard.
Volland is looking to cinch up a triangle. Keller throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Volland's body to avoid the submission. Volland has instead reached around Keller's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Volland arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Christian Volland!
