Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gil Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Chingada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gil Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hector Chingada! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wong is chipping away with strikes.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chingada can do anything to dispel that myth. Wong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chingada is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wong is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Chingada will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong scores with punches from side control. Chingada is letting Wong control him for a moment. Wong throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Chingada is being controlled here. Wong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Chingada for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wong scores with a couple of short elbows. Wong has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Chingada tries a head kick but it misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Wong misses its target. Chingada looks winded! Chingada throws a sloppy head kick and Wong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Hector Chingada has been cut. Wong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chingada to the mat! Chingada manages to get full guard. Chingada is wriggling around but Wong manages to pass to half guard.
Wong in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Chingada tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wong!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gil Wong!
