Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Schwartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leha Zver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leha Zver has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shaun Schwartz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leha Zver! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zver gets a clinch. Schwartz manages to break the clinch.
Zver drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schwartz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Zver tries for a kimura but Schwartz is defending well. Zver staying calm. Zver throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Schwartz works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zver wants to advance to full mount but Schwartz doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zver accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Zver's corner is telling him to maintain position. Schwartz keeping moving, preventing Zver from controlling successfully. Zver throws a strike but Schwartz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zver wants to sweep but no luck. Zver has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Zver wants to hit a switch here but Schwartz passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Zver there! Zver is desperately trying to improve his position but Schwartz has a good base and remains in mount. Schwartz controlling the pace for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwartz manages to capitalize on a mistake by Zver to take his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zver trying to control the action but Schwartz just sinks the hooks in. Schwartz looking for the RNC. Schwartz is trying to stick to Zver's back but Zver is turning into Schwartz. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Schwartz's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Zver. Zver is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Schwartz tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwartz is working an open guard so Zver takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Zver doesn't manage to clinch there - Schwartz circles away.
A jab lands there for Zver. Zver throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Schwartz was covering up waiting for the punch and Zver finishes the takedown easily into guard. Zver stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schwartz swivels though and keeps the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Schwartz keeping moving, preventing Zver from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Leha Zver will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Zver decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Schwartz is looking to improve his position.
Zver throwing shots but Schwartz is blocking nicely. Zver controlling the pace. Zver stands up from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schwartz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zver sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Schwartz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zver as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zver throws a series of punches but Schwartz moves out of range. Zver drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schwartz is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Zver off and has taken his back! Zver preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Schwartz. Schwartz is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Zver defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Zver staying busy and making it hard for Schwartz to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwartz controlling well, preventing Zver from escaping the position.
Zver trying to get back to his feet but Schwartz is in full control for now. Zver trying to control the hands but Schwartz breaks the grip. Zver fending off the submission attempt from Schwartz. Zver is trying to roll into a better position but Schwartz has get a rear naked choke and Zver is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
