Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Spencer Cobb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bralynn Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cobb tries to avoid it but Jenkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cobb to the ground. Cobb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cobb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cobb fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins avoids it really well and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jenkins.
Cobb is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jenkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Jenkins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Spencer Cobb has been cut.

Jenkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jenkins wants it to stay on the feet.
Cobb leaves Jenkins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jenkins is trying to pull guard but Cobb turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Jenkins tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cobb just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jenkins is trying to force a seperation but Cobb has the dominant position.
Jenkins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cobb walks away with a smile on his face. Jenkins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cobb closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jenkins circles away.

Bralynn Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jenkins moves into the clinch.
Jenkins pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Cobb is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Cobb is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jenkins is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jenkins has escaped and now he's on top!

Cobb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jenkins fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cobb as he jumps to the side.
Jenkins throws a head kick that misses.
Jenkins fails to land the takedown.
Cobb fails with the takedown.
Jenkins throws out a counter right but Cobb avoids it with no problem.

Jenkins manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Cobb keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Cobb postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jenkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cobb, into his guard.

Jenkins controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Jenkins passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Sloppy strikes there by Jenkins.
Jenkins wants to control but Cobb is keeping him busy.

Jenkins decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Jenkins has managed to clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Jenkins's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jenkins can't get the takedown.
Jenkins is trying to pull guard but Cobb turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Cobb dodges an elbow strike from Jenkins.
Jenkins tries to pull guard but Cobb forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Cobb is struggling to control the position.
Cobb is trying to pull guard but Jenkins has him pressed against the cage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cobb tries to pull guard but Jenkins holds him up against the cage and eventually Cobb drops back down to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bralynn Jenkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jenkins lands a left and a right that send Cobb crashing to the mat, dazed. Jenkins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jenkins shoots in looking for a takedown but Cobb manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jenkins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jenkins darts in looking for a takedown but Cobb gets double underhooks and turns Jenkins into the cage.

and Jenkins counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Cobb badly! He tries to strike back but Jenkins puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Cobb out cold! Oh man, Cobb will never hear the end of this one!
