Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Poto Tupu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Slevin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tupu comes to the cage accompanied by Youth Of The Nation. The crowd seem to be enjoying Slevin's choice of entrance music: timber. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slevin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tupu.
We've been hearing reports that Tupu has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tupu throws the left hand but Slevin avoids the punch easily.
Tupu loads up on a big right hand but Slevin slips the punch.
Tupu moves into range and connects with a jab.
An inside leg kick lands from Tupu.
Tupu throws a head kick but Slevin moves out of range.
Tupu misses with a hook.
Nice defenses there by Slevin.
Slevin doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

It looks like Poto Tupu has been cut.
Tupu takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Slevin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tupu.

Slevin missing with a left hand there. Tupu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Slevin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tupu slips a jab from Slevin.
Tupu lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Tupu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Slevin lands a jab to the head.
Slevin checks the leg kick nicely there.
Slevin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tupu throws a head kick that half lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tupu takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Slevin has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Slevin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Tupu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slevin.

Slevin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Slevin moves out of range of the strikes.
Tupu misses with a kick to the body.
Slevin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Tupu sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Slevin to the ground! Tupu dives into full mount looking to finish!
Slevin is still in real trouble! Can Tupu finish him?

Slevin has given up his back. Will we see Tupu going for some submissions?
Slevin looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Tupu has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Slevin has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Slevin seems to have recovered his senses.
Tupu has the hooks in. Slevin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Slevin manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tupu's guard. Nice work there by Slevin.
Slevin wants to control from the top but Tupu keeps moving.
Tupu tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Slevin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tupu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Slevin has managed to get both his arms back between Tupu's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slevin content to stall in guard here.
Slevin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Tupu looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Slevin is defending well. Tupu quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Slevin has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tupu celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Poto Tupu!
After winning the bout, Poto Tupu thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Tony Slevin had this to say: 'ill be round your house later with the lads'.
