Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Simpleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Rufus Lee has been cut.
Simpleton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Simpleton off to one side.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lee pushes Simpleton off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Lee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
