Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Woodrow Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lennox Zelaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Woodrow Ramirez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Woodrow Ramirez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Woodrow Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lennox Zelaya! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramirez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lennox Zelaya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zelaya has Ramirez up against the cage in a clinch.
Ramirez working hard to break the clinch. Zelaya jumps guard and drags Ramirez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Ramirez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Zelaya is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramirez is aware though and is defending well. Ramirez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Zelaya utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Zelaya lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ramirez circles away quickly and effectively. Ramirez throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ramirez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A good leg kick by Zelaya. Ramirez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zelaya avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Woodrow Ramirez will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Zelaya clinches. Ramirez is trying to pull guard but Zelaya turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Zelaya has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ramirez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Zelaya is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ramirez gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Zelaya connects with a nasty looking knee right to Ramirez's face.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ramirez is trying to force a seperation but Zelaya has the dominant position. Ramirez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zelaya walks away with a smile on his face. Ramirez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ramirez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ramirez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Zelaya is looking for a sweep. Ramirez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Zelaya is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Zelaya in particular looking to stall. Ramirez is refusing to be controlled, as Zelaya sits in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Woodrow Ramirez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ramirez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
