Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Ruas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruas's entrance music is Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Santiago's choice of entrance music: Don't You Wish You Were Me-Fozzy. Antonio Santiago has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marco Ruas's chin.

11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antonio Santiago! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruas tries to clinch up. Santiago fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ruas sprawls well initially but Santiago persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Santiago is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ruas sees it coming and defends easily. Ruas looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ruas regains full guard. Nicely done. Ruas throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Santiago tries to free his leg and advance position but Ruas is retaining full guard. Ruas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Santiago lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ruas down.
