The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OQuinn throws a lazy head kick
and OQuinn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
OQuinn takes one to the side of the head.
Doom lands an overhand right.
Doom scores with the left hand. OQuinn knows he should have avoided that one.
Doom lands with a shot to the body.
OQuinn looks to land a right hand but Doom moved out of range.
Doom tried to counter with a leg kick but OQuinn avoided it.
Doom ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Doom throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent OQuinn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

OQuinn rushes Doom and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Doom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Doom is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Doom swats away the attempt to clinch by OQuinn.
Doom lands a leg kick that knocks OQuinn off balance momentarily.
OQuinn looks to throw the jab but Doom is out of range.
OQuinn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Doom was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
OQuinn moves to clinch but Doom breaks away
enabling Doom to counter with a crisp jab.
OQuinn takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Damien OQuinn has been cut.

OQuinn throws a sloppy head kick and Doom moves out of range easily.
As OQuinn looks to move away, Doom throws a big counter combo but OQuinn just gets out of the way.
A left lands for Doom.

OQuinn is rocked!
OQuinn throws the left hand but Doom avoids the punch easily.
A head kick by OQuinn misses
and Doom counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
OQuinn is still on wobbly legs! Can Doom finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Doom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Doom closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks OQuinn out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
