Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Collin Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Bartas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petr Bartas will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Collin Velasquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Petr Bartas! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bartas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Velasquez pushes Bartas off and gets back to his feet.
Bartas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Velasquez swats him away and circles back towards the center. Velasquez is looking to counter punch. Velasquez tries to keep at a distance but Bartas has taken the fight into the clinch. Bartas pulls Velasquez into guard.
Velasquez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Velasquez landing some decent shots from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velasquez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Velasquez really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Bartas wants to get back to his feet but Velasquez passes into half guard.
Velasquez decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Velasquez moves into the clinch successfully.
Velasquez dodges an elbow strike from Bartas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velasquez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bartas prevents it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Bartas lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Velasquez taking a breather. Bartas wants to get back to striking at distance but Velasquez won't allow it.
Velasquez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Velasquez wants to take the fight to the mat but Bartas manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Collin Velasquez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bartas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Velasquez. Velasquez controls from within his opponent's guard. Velasquez stands and steps away. Bartas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bartas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bartas looks winded! Bartas throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Velasquez clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velasquez tries for a takedown. No joy.
The referee is keeping an eye on Velasquez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bartas wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Velasquez jumps into guard, dragging Bartas to the mat.
Velasquez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Velasquez keeping moving, preventing Bartas from controlling successfully. Velasquez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bartas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Velasquez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Velasquez really is a fat lump. Velasquez is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Collin Velasquez will probably get the nod. That's time! Velasquez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bartas keeps Velasquez at a distance using the push kick. Bartas shoots in and bounces Velasquez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bartas wants to stand but Velasquez is controlling his posture from full guard. Bartas trying to control but Velasquez is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Velasquez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Bartas is breathing heavily. Velasquez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velasquez lands a couple of decent looking shots. Velasquez controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bartas is working an open guard so Velasquez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bartas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Velasquez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bartas won't allow Velasquez to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velasquez trying to keep a closed guard but Bartas is proving a slippery customer.
Velasquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bartas manages to get himself to full guard.
Bartas has his foot on Velasquez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Velasquez works his way back into a safe position though. Bartas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Velasquez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Velasquez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bartas is working an open guard so Velasquez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Velasquez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Velasquez pulls Bartas into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velasquez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Velasquez manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Velasquez can't get the takedown.
Velasquez lands an elbow inside that Bartas shrugs off. Velasquez is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Bartas is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Velasquez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bartas has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Velasquez seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Bartas can turn it around. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Velasquez gets a clinch. Velasquez drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Velasquez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bartas smiles and moves away.
Bartas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Collin Velasquez dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Bartas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bartas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Velasquez did well to prevent Bartas getting side control. Bartas prevents Velasquez from improving his position. Velasquez wants to control but Bartas is keeping busy.
Velasquez gets full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Velasquez is on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bartas is looking to stand back up but Velasquez counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bartas. Bartas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Velasquez is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velasquez gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Velasquez moves into the clinch successfully.
Bartas drags the fight down to the ground.
Velasquez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Velasquez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bartas for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velasquez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Velasquez stands up from guard. Let's bang! Velasquez has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Bartas's face as he tries to break the clinch. Velasquez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bartas uses from the top position. Velasquez trying to keep a closed guard but Bartas is proving a slippery customer.
Bartas is sitting in close to Velasquez's body. Velasquez has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bartas is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bartas is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Velasquez.
