Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ogedei Khan I! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Pan! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan I misses the jab. Pan is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Khan I lands a glancing blow to the side of Pan's head. Khan I definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Khan I scores with a jab to the body. Khan I works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Pan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Pan blocks a jab. A right-left combo lands from Khan I. Khan I throws a right and a left that both miss. Khan I connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A lazy left from Khan I finds it's target. Khan I lands with a cross. Khan I with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pan moves away from the strike by Khan I. Pan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Pan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Khan I is looking to control Pan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Khan I avoid being mounted? Khan I knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pan on the ground. Pan working Khan I over with strikes. Pan looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Khan I wants to improve his position but Pan is controlling well.
Pan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Khan I defend it? Pan steps over the head and cranks it - Khan I is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pan!
