Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Short Stack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Castolgni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Castolgni's choice of entrance music: Pure Rock Fury. Short Stack has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stack lands a jab to Castolgni's midsection.

Stack definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Stack cracks Castolgni with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Castolgni is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Castolgni is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
It looks like Mario Castolgni has been cut.
Castolgni avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Castolgni has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stack finds it's way round the side to connect with Castolgni's head.
Stack misses with a wild combination.

We've been informed that Castolgni has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Stack misses with a short punch on the inside.
A short body shot lands from Stack as the two fighters clinch.

Stack throws a punch but it's blocked by Castolgni.

Stack creates a bit of distance and cracks Castolgni with a big uppercut! Castolgni goes down! The referee pushes Stack away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Castolgni make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Stack takes it!

After the fight, Short Stack was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
